At Black Atlas Training, we understand that circumstances may arise that could require changes to your scheduled training session. This policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding cancellations, rescheduling, and fees. By booking training with us, you agree to abide by the following terms.

1. Cancellation By The Client

We value our clients and strive to provide flexibility while maintaining our high standards of service. In the event that you need to cancel a training session, the following guidelines apply:

1.1 Cancellation Timeframe & Fees

1.1.1 More than 48 hours before the scheduled session

No cancellation fee. You may cancel your training at no charge.

1.1.2 Less than 48 hours before the scheduled session

No refunds will be provided. If you would like to cancel completely, 100% of the total training fee will be charged as a cancellation fee. You will always have the option to reschedule instead which will fall under the Rescheduling section below.

2. Rescheduling By The Client

Rescheduling is subject to trainer and venue availability. New training dates must fall within 12 months of the original booking.

2.1 Rescheduling Timeframe & Fees

2.1.1 More than 48 hours before the scheduled session

No rescheduling fee. You may reschedule your training at no charge, subject to availability.

2.1.2 Less than 48 hours before the scheduled session

Providing we receive your notice before the training session begins, we can reschedule you for another upcoming session. If this is your first time rescheduling, there is no charge. Any subsequent reschedule is subject to a $50 rescheduling charge.

3. No Show Or Failure To Attend By The Client

If a scheduled attendee fails to attend the scheduled training session (no show), no refund or rescheduling options will be available. Full payment for the session will be charged.

4. Late to Attend By The Client

If you are going to be late, we expect you to let us know. We are more than happy to wait an additional period of time if we know to expect you but we can’t hold up the class too long as we require the allocated time to get through the course material, especially if the course has a larger attendance.

If you believe you will be more than 30 minutes late, it will be best if you reschedule. Past the 30 minute mark you will have likely missed a fair bit of the beginning of the course. If you let us know before the scheduled start time on the day of attendance, we will be happy to reschedule you and the rescheduling conditions above will apply. If you let us know after the scheduled start time, we may have already marked you as a no show and the no show conditions may apply.

Of course, we understand that things do happen. With extenuating circumstances, we can discuss your available options.

5. Cancellation By Black Atlas Training

While we make every effort to honor all scheduled sessions, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a training session in the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, weather conditions, or other emergencies).

5.1 Cancellation Due to Circumstances Beyond Our Control

In the event of a cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control, such as trainer illness or extreme weather, we will work with you to reschedule the training at a mutually convenient time. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be issued for the affected session.

5.2 Cancellation Due to Low Enrollment

In the event that the minimum number of participants required for a training session is not met, we reserve the right to cancel the session. We will notify you at least 2 days in advance if a session must be canceled for this reason and we will coordinate with you to get you scheduled into our next session. This should be rare as we do out best to run all the courses we schedule.

6. Refunds By Black Atlas Training

Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment if applicable. All refund requests will be processed within 15 business days of the cancellation notice, subject to the applicable cancellation fees outlined above.

7. Exceptions By Black Atlas Training

In rare circumstances, we may consider exceptions to this policy at our discretion. Requests for exceptions should be submitted in writing to our team via email which can be found on our contact page.

8. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to deliver training sessions due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, governmental restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will notify clients as soon as possible and discuss options for rescheduling or cancelling.

9. How to Cancel or Reschedule

To cancel or reschedule your training session, please contact our coordinator by email or phone which can be found on our contact page.

We will respond to your request as soon as possible and assist you in processing your cancellation or rescheduling.

10. Agreement

By booking and confirming a training session with us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this cancellation policy.
